Message from our President, Caroline Berry
It is an honor to begin this year serving you and our arts community. The summer was very busy and very exciting as our committee chairs organized for the coming year. I see and feel the energy of our members as we prepare for another year of giving back, to the arts community.
This year, my personal goal is to have each Beaux Arts member engage, or re-engage herself in Beaux Arts. Now that we have our objectives and implementation plans in place and working, I want to encourage individual personal power and growth…challenge yourself and take ownership of your personal role in Beaux Arts.
The Board members and I will work diligently to support everyone on our way to success. It has been long documented that Beaux Arts women not only contribute to our community, but also expand their personal objectives.
This coming year, we will create a Fall Fundraising Gala that will raise eyebrows and inspire guests to return with their friends year after year. We will also create a Spring Event to honor the Beaux Arts Associates and recall the days of the successful Promenade in the Park and their extraordinary achievements.
The past women of Beaux Arts have created a long legacy of fundraising for the arts. We are proud to follow in their footsteps.
Our continuing main objective is to encourage among children, young people and adults a more thorough understanding and appreciation of fine and applied arts. And we take great pride in knowing that Beaux Arts has contributed over $5 million to the Arts in our community since 1959.
I promise to do my best to lead our organization by example. I will support each Beaux Arts member to achieve their goals. Remember, YOU are what makes us very different from other organizations for the arts. Together, let’s make a difference for the arts!
Beaux Arts President 2015/2016
